Summary
"The knight always comes back to his King." D3rLord3 hears something says it. It's a soft whisper, that barely audible.
"What?" He repeats himself.
And then it's happening – he can almost feel the color. He can taste it. Everything is yellow, and he still in the darkness at the same time.
"I called for you." says The King in Yellow. His voice is everywhere and D3rLord3 is sure, that he can hear Him not with his ears, but mind.

Summary
the doors stand at the end of the path, massive things carved with symbols that shift if he stares too long, the kind that don’t belong to any human alphabet. They’re already open, just enough for a person to slip through, just enough for him to wonder whether something else slipped out.
He stops.
His heart’s in his throat, a dull drumming that feels too loud here, too alive
he swallows it down, forces his shoulders to square, mutters to himself—“you’ve made it this far, come on, don’t fall apart now.”
