Summary
Pain.
That’s all Lucifer felt as he stumbled out of the hole in the ground left by Vox’s angelic war cannon. He attempted to joke, saying something along the lines of “Don’t go down there, it’s a place of pain,” though he didn’t know if he managed to get the words out before he collapsed.
White-hot pain seared through his head as it knocked against the ground. He was spent. The well of power he usually felt thrumming under his skin was strangely silent now. He groaned, trying desperately to stand up again.
If anyone saw him like this, if anyone got it into their head that he was weak… He didn’t know what would happen, but he didn’t want to find out.
He was about to resign himself to death before someone saved him in the nick of time. Now, Alastor is assigned to be his caretaker, and Lucifer was extremely unhappy about it. Maybe death would have been better than this personal Hell.
Or,
Lucifer is tired after the final battle against the Vees, and Alastor is coerced into taking care of him by a stressed-out Charlie. Neither of them enjoy it... at first-- though their feelings towards each other soon begin to change.

He gasped as there was a flash of fire and through the flames he saw it. A figure with three pairs of wings covered in eyes, horns sprouting from its forehead and a tail flicking through the air. When the flames died down there he was…a short man with alabaster skin, messy blonde hair and dressed in a robe.
“Huh” Alastor was frozen in shock as this man yawned barely opening his eyes to acknowledge him
“Oh shit here we go again” the stranger sighed “Listen mortal I don’t have time for this, so let’s make this quick. Yes you did it you summoned me, the devil himself, Lucifer, now what do you want money, power, fame-“ he stopped when he was interrupted by laughter
