Summary
Living with Crowley in their cottage in the South Downs was pure joy. Over the millenia, Aziraphale had never dared to imagine what it would be like. Waking up, looking into the demon’s face. Discussing plans for the day over breakfast. Spending hours upon hours, idling the day away with a good book or in Crowley’s case, a captivating mobile telephone game. Spending the evenings in a tight embrace, whispering sweet nothings into each other's ears.
It was truly magnificent. Having the demon around day and night was what he had always longed for. Aziraphale would never be ungrateful and complain about it now that some minor details might be less than optimal.
or
When Crowley gives Aziraphale the space he asks for, the angel realises that he's not prepared to share Crowley's attention. Good thing the demon knows how to show the angel that he always comes first for him.

Summary
"What." Crowley grumbled and looked down at the mouse in his hands. "Don't see what's so important about a little white mouse."
That's when he felt it. It wasn't a heartbeat thrumming against his palm, it was an angelic essence. A very familiar angelic essence.
"Aziraphale..."
His voice came out as a whisper, as if he couldn't believe it. He hadn't seen Aziraphale in months, not since the angel had left him for Heaven. He had wallowed for a little while, then found purpose again in a routine, knowing that eventually Aziraphale would come crawling back, confessing his great mistake in thinking that he could make a change Upstairs.
He never in his most petty dreams imagined that Aziraphale would return a broken little creature, dirty with what looked like perhaps an attempted smiting.
~*~
Aziraphale returns to Earth, but at a great cost to his corporation. Now, with Crowley's help, he must find a way to heal -- and quickly -- before Heaven finds him and resumes the Second Coming.

Summary
“Angel, you’re hemorrhaging.” The words come to him through treacle, almost indistinguishable from the pounding in his ears.
A sharp wail cuts through his disoriented haze. Aziraphale’s gaze drifts towards the Moses basket, the motion sending his vision spinning precariously. Gentle fingers on his chin pull his head forwards again.
“You’re bleeding out. Do you understand?”
or, The birth of their first child doesn't go to plan. Crowley struggles to pick up the pieces.

Summary
Crawly was so pleased with himself at first, getting an angel to indulge in gross matter. But as he watched Aziraphale moan and groan over every bite of meat, slick grease coating his chin and fingers, that smug satisfaction morphed into a confusing heat within him, as if he was sitting too close to a roaring hearth. Aziraphale was so clearly lost in the moment, enjoying himself so thoroughly, that Crawly couldn’t bring himself to look away.
Must be the wine, he thought as he shifted uncomfortably on the sack of grain he was lounging on. An off vintage or something, it was giving him strange thoughts.

Summary
“Wot, everything?” Aziraphale smiled and nodded, but Crowley refused to believe that the angel truly understood the implication of what he was offering. “Aziraphale, are you asking me to move in with you?“
“Well, I don’t see why you need to keep your things elsewhere when I have the space. And you’re over here often enough that it only seems logical for you to stay here, too. Doesn’t it?”
Aziraphale invites Crowley to move into the flat above the bookshop. His very small, cluttered flat above the bookshop.

Summary
Crowley didn’t like the sound of that. It reminded him of his own dark moods, when all he wanted to do was crawl into bed and sleep for a week. He didn’t want Aziraphale to have to wait that long to feel better.
Good thing that Crowley was an expert in cheering up angels. Well… one specific angel, anyway.
“Right.” Crowley took Aziraphale by the shoulders and gently steered him towards the back room. “Time for some creature comforts, then. Let’s go.”

Summary
One night, after a spin or two around the menu guide, Crowley called out to Aziraphale to come join him on the couch. “I think you’ll like this one,” he said as the angel settled next to him, book in hand. “It’s a comedy about The Gentleman Pirate and Blackbeard.”
“A comedy? Are you sure? You do know what happened to the both of them, don’t you?”

Summary
Aziraphale gasped. “You didn’t grow that mustache again, did you?” Crowley sputtered several very indignant nonsense sounds until the angel’s warm laughter came out of the phone’s speaker. “It’s fine, dear. I’m sure I’ll adore whatever fashionable changes you’ve made to your appearance.” A nervous silence followed, before the angel added hesitantly, “As it turns out, I might have made a sartorial change as well.”
“Oh?” Crowley immediately forgot his own nerves, insatiably curious over what the angel had done to his wardrobe. “Care to elaborate? Have you finally decided to join the 21st century?”

“Oh!” He smiled and placed a hand on his cheek. “Merry Christmas to you, too, dear.”
She laughed and pointed to the mistletoe hanging above him. “Couldn’t miss my chance to kiss an angel,” she joked, and Crowley lost all of the being impressed and went straight to annoyed. She caught his expression and grinned. “What, did you want a kiss from me, too?”
“Hard pass,” Crowley hissed, and continued on to the kitchen.

Summary
"What?" Gabriel shared a glance with Beelzebub, who was equally surprised. "That doesn't make any sense, Crowley. Heaven is the last place Aziraphale wants to be."
"Tell that to *him*,” Crowley sneered, before flopping back in his seat and leaning his head against the headrest. "Anyway, since this is all your fault, Beelzebub, sending your boyfriend's amnesiac arse to Aziraphale and throwing a spanner into the works, I think it's only fair that I get a vacation at the place I bloody created when I was an angel."
"How is it my fault that--"
"Sshh." Crowley pinched his thumb and forefinger together, then rolled to his side, away from the pair. "I'm going back to sleep."
~*~
Gabriel and Beelzebub are enjoying their retirement on Alpha Centauri when Crowley shows up in his Bentley, drunk and heartbroken. Will they be able to help repair Crowley and Aziraphale's relationship? Or are they doomed to having Crowley as a permanent third wheel?
