Summary
Even though Tim Bradford is the best player on the L.A. Kings, his team might not renew his contract for another season because he is single. Lucy Chen, a world famous pop star constantly scrutinized for her dating life, thought her secret fiancée was the one, which is what she told the media in her excitement for her upcoming private wedding…that was canceled last minute. Their friends come up with a plan- Lucy and Tim should pretend to get married to help each other out. The only problem: faking it as a couple just might lead to real feelings.

Summary
“To the end of the world,” Lucy murmurs, and she doesn’t know if it’s the look in his eyes, the desperation of the moment, or the knowledge that the world might be ending and they may never get another chance that propels them forward.
Tim smirks, her heart thunders in her chest, and she takes a single step closer to him.
“Whenever that may be,” he says, and then he’s raising the glass to his lips and taking a long swig. Lucy mirrors the movement and then licks her lips, the tequila burning down her throat as Tim stares at her, his own lips wet with the whiskey he’s clutching in his hand.
“Tim,” she breathes, because despite the fact that he hasn’t let her be afraid yet, she is a little bit.
“Lucy,” he murmurs.
She doesn’t know who moves first, just that, later, it keeps her up at night.
OR
Chenford hooks up during the missile threat and there are consequences.

She’d fallen asleep holding his hand and woken up with him again and it isn’t the morning after the worst day of her life anymore. It feels like what she’s been waiting for. It feels like permission.
OR - Tim and Lucy (really convincingly) fake date, fall for each other, and attend a wedding. Maybe not in that exact order.

“Easy. Dodgers game, cold beer, bases loaded.”
They're both wrong.
OR -- Tim and Lucy find out their happiest places on Earth aren't places at all. All it takes is a trip to Disneyland, an undercover princess, and more flirty touching than Disney has ever seen.
