It wasn’t a game of chase or a game of hide-and-seek, but it was a game of pretend. The anticipation began to bubble inside of him. Xiao Lan Hua lit a fuse and he was excited to see what the end results would be. Fist clasping the jade tight, a shiver ran down his spine before he closed his eyes to focus his thoughts. He opened them, pupils already dilated and predatory, before he vanished silently. Nothing but a lingering wisp of his magic was left, while the rest of Siming Hall glinted under the bright sun.

Jayce looks at Viktor, taking in the indecisiveness on his face, the tightness in his shoulders, the haunted look in his eyes that never quite goes away anymore. And something inside him clicks into place.
It's not that Viktor doesn’t want him.
It’s that Viktor doesn’t trust himself to want.
"Is that what you need, Viktor?" Jayce asks, eyes softening. "For someone to take the choice away from you? Because I can do that for you, if you'll let me. I can take control from here on out and you'll never to worry about anything else. Would you like that?"
Viktor's eyes are wide, lips parted from where his mouth has fallen open slightly, and for a moment, he seems speechless, but then he nods, a small, barely perceptible shake of his head that reveals more than enough of his longing. "Please."
After waking up in an unfamiliar timeline, Jayce and Viktor find it all too easy to fall into bed together instead of talking about their feelings. This, naturally, leads to consequences neither are prepared for.
Like unwittingly falling into a dom/sub dynamic, for example.

Staccato steps thudded against the hardwood floor until they came to a stop before Izuku. Katsuki reached a hand out and softly twirled a lock of viridian hair around his finger before tracing it down his jaw and then grasping him by the chin. The sound of Izuku’s breath catching in his throat made Katsuki’s chest swell, and he chuckled as he facetiously tilted Izuku’s head side to side before lifting it up so their eyes met.
“You look good like this,” He finally said as his thumb ran along Izuku’s plump bottom lip.
“In a dress or on my knees?” Izuku asked, eyes lidded as his lips brushed coyly against Katsuki’s thumb.
