The others get to see their leader as hylian, just like them and can in fact, be hurt, and make mistakes. Including the one that has haunted majority of them throughout time.

Honestly, when Malon bought the ranch and the land surrounding it, she had chuckled at the warnings given to her. Something about it being built directly on a leyline, where the barrier between reality and the arcane was thinnest. She waved her hand at the other farmers, trying to warn her away from possibly the best plot of land she had ever seen. Now, she was beginning to think they were right about that whole magic thing, as she watched softly glowing eyes peer right back at her from within the trees that bordered the property.
