    It’s one step forwards and two steps back with Link, Malon thinks. He’s no longer the shy fairy boy who you wouldn’t expect to be the most courageous and independent kid in all of Hyrule. Now he’s a tall man with an impressive stature and -dare she say- good looks. Underneath he’s as skittish as a newborn lamb and absolutely refuses to be addressed to, disappearing into the wild as soon as he’s noticed.

    It’s an odd juxtaposition from the person she used to know him as. But he is still kind and soft at heart.

    If only he realized that the fence was unlocked since they met, and that he didn’t need to heave himself over it in the last twenty years they knew each other.

    So at least that didn’t change.
