“Oi!” heckled Sirius. “If you called us all over here to poison us, you know that means we can’t keep you company while you’re in hiding?”
“Even better!” Lily declared. “I have spent the last three months developing a semi-safe alternative to Veritaserum and you, my friends, are about to witness a live demonstration.”
“Semi-safe?” echoed Remus.
“Veritaserum?” squeaked Peter.

Remus knew, even as a luminescent stag with seven branches to his antlers and uncannily dishevelled fur atop his head sat in front of him and silently howled his name, that this could not be Prongs. It could look like Prongs; it could run like Prongs; but it could not act, communicate, or greet old friends like Prongs. It was simply not possible. It had never been done. It broke all the rules of Patronus magic that Remus had ever known, which was, quite frankly, most of them. But Harry had somehow done it, because the Patronus in front of him was clearly and unmistakably,
“Prongs.”

"We were very considerate the first time around," Sirius said, smirking. "Spent months all torn up about poor Remus and his dying mum before we realized he was pulling one over on us."
"You can't still expect me to feel sorry about that," Remus complained. "Sick mum is like the oldest trick in the book! It's a foolproof excuse for disappearing. I came off looking like a caring and dedicated son and everyone else felt rude asking too many questions about it." Remus took a contented, almost smug, sip of his butterbeer; beside him, Peter took a much longer drink. "It was perfect. A real classic."Fic 5: Dragon Valley - 1/1- 6,598 - G
Twelve year-old Harry took a pinch of the proffered floo powder from Mrs. Weasley’s flower pot, dropped it into the Burrow’s empty fireplace, choked on a breathful of hot ash, and stuttered out, “D-Dia-gon Alley.”
The Floo Network, being invented by wizards and therefore following a system that was a good sight more whimsical than it was logical, did not dump poor Harry out one grate too far, in Knockturn Alley. Instead, Harry tumbled out of a different hearth, still coughing on soot, and found himself on the floor of the Dragon Valley pub. All Harry wanted was to hear a story about his parents and then maybe mourn them in peace. He did not want to eat a feast on the anniversary of their deaths. He definitely did not want to let an escaped convict into Gryffindor tower.

Summary:
Everyone knows Dementors can take souls, but nothing says that they have to keep them. After the Dementor attack in Little Whinging ends disastrously, Harry must find a place for himself in a new world, fighting a different sort of war against the nascent Voldemort.
------------------A great Time Travel/Dimension Travel story. Harry goes back to the first war during James and Lily's last years at Hogwarts and it results in a very unique and wonderfully written story. I love Aberforth Dumbledore taking Harry in and everything that results from that. Harry as 'squib' is great!
Good SPAG, pacing and storytelling; wonderful attention to detail and everyone is well characterized.The fic is quite long, but riveting to the end and a great read.

Severus Snape didn't need to predict the future.
In a different life- in the Before-- he'd read 7 books all about that future and it. had. sucked! He wanted absolutely nothing to do with it! He wasn’t going to preserve the timeline, or assassinate Voldemort and save the wizarding world, oh no.
No. Lily Evans was going to live. She was going to live; they’d be best friends forever; and Severus would have a wonderful, magical time at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
Too bad no one told the future that.
------------------Intriguing start and well-written so far. (There are a few typos (mostly when it comes to tenses), but they didn't impede the reading flow or my immersion into the story.)
I hope there will be more some time soon! 😊

It has great Spuffy banter and is a delight to read.
