    Summary

“I’m- I can’t convince myself to commit to a longer stay,” Robby admits, frustrated by it. “It’d be better for actually getting somewhere with antidepressants, I know, but I feel like once I take away the work and the bike and everything else I do… there’s a clock on how long I can be naked like that. When it runs out, if I’m not back on the right side, I’ll get stuck as nothing, forever.” Robby drops his face into his hand. “Why does this sound like The Little Mermaid?” he moans.

“Is this the kind of place where they throw a black bag over your head and smash your SIM card, or can I still talk to you?” Jack asks.

~After a scare on his road trip, Robby does two weeks of inpatient care in Wisconsin... and you'll never guess who he uses his phone time on~

This story is incredible and this author writes the way a classical painter would paint. You can feel and breathe and run your hands over the texture of each scene. Brilliant.

And so the words come—not as a question, not even as a considered response, but as the only possible interruption to the trajectory he can feel, with terrible certainty, unfolding before him.

    “Please don’t go.”

Some of the most insane prose I’ve ever read. This will take you straight out of your head and into Jack’s on that rooftop.

I've solved plenty of puzzles before. Love to play the game. Obviously.
When you're clever, though, (like me) the puzzles get...dull. Generally speaking, most people are remarkably dull. Tedious, even.
Most people. Not John Watson, though. He's...he's different.
    A challenge.

    Summary

In the midst of the Gallic Wars, Angelus Aziraphale, a respected Roman centurion, is stationed with his legion in a Roman camp. As a man of discipline and honor, Aziraphale has long suppressed any personal emotions, focusing solely on maintaining control over his men and ensuring victory for Rome.

However, everything changes when a Celtic prisoner is captured and brought to their camp. Aziraphale stumbles upon a shocking sight: one of his own men, a young legionary named Antonius Crowley, quietly assumes the submissive role in an intimate encounter with the prisoner. This unexpected revelation shakes the centurion to his core, as he begins to question the nature of power, control, and his own desires.
Initially repulsed by the vulnerability he witnesses, Aziraphale struggles with his growing fascination with Crowley, whose boldness and courage in battle contrast sharply with the image of submission in the hut.

Aziraphale and Crowley find themselves drawn together in an unspoken bond, complicated by the rigid Roman norms and the tension of their military roles.
