“It can’t be easy,” Megatron said.
Ratchet scoffed at him. “I’m reattaching your legs, not rewiring your nervous system. I could do this in my sleep.”
“That’s not what I meant. I mean you,” Megatron said. “Fixing me.”
Ratchet’s hands paused for only a second, only noticeable because of their normal fast and rigorously efficient pace. Most wouldn’t even notice the slight falter, but Megatron did. Because the Ratchet that lived in his memory never faltered. Never had the broken look that flickered over the current Ratchet’s features for that same split second.
