Rin gives him a look. “Haru, you broke off a relationship with a guy at a McDonald's in San Francisco then ordered a McFlurry. You’re not exactly the most emotionally sensitive, and Makoto’s more sensitive than a tit submerged in ice.”
“I don’t need you to ‘talk’ to him for me.” He lifts his chin with indignation. “I know how to talk."
Rin rakes a hand through his hair. “Nanase. We’re friends, so I’m gonna be the one to tell you that when you try to be charming, it really just comes off as...” He gropes for the word with a shudder. “Just evil."
“Yes, Rin, we’re friends. That’s why I can tell you that your ‘charm’ is more toxic than a radioactive cockroach that crawled up a dead horse’s ass. Now, if you please?” He waves at the door.
"C'mon, Makoto's a rational Scorpio, you’re a cold-hearted bitch. It’s perfect. Just tell me Sousuke’s birthday and I’ll make it happen.”
Haru shakes his head. “It would be extremely unprofessional of me to give out a coworker’s information.”
Rin sighs and accepts defeat, heading out the door -

Gou smirked over the pillow she laid on, grinning at Makoto who stood awkwardly in the middle of his college dorm room. He pulled on the tiny shorts she’d forced on him, though that did zero good at all. She’d even found a thong for him, the straps which she’d pulled up over his hips and above the shorts; he tucked them down again self-consciously, even if it was now less fabric covering his body.
“Seriously, I don’t get why you have such a complex about yourself, Mako,” Gou said as she slipped off her bed and sidled up to her best friend. “Your body is gorgeous.”
Makoto pressed nervously at his thick glasses and coughed awkwardly. She reached up and clicked her tongue.
“I know you have contacts.”
“Listen, Gou, this is a terrible idea,” Makoto whimpered weakly, but she was ready with her practiced rebuttal of, “It’s Halloween, Makoto! And you know who will be at this party, right?”Series
