    Megatron’s optics flickered toward Knockout, sharp and precise. “And Starscream?” His tone was clipped, controlled, but a trace of curiosity—or perhaps irritation—lingered beneath the surface. “What is his status?”

    Knockout shifted slightly, glancing toward the row of medical berths lining the far side of the chamber. “He’s stable,” he admitted, “but unconscious. He sustained extensive trauma during the crash. Most critically…” His voice dropped, careful. “…his vocalizer was destroyed. He cannot speak, not until we repair or replace it. Which depends on what parts we have remaining.”

    A low hum rumbled through Megatron’s chest, almost like a stifled chuckle. His optics swept over the empty berth where Starscream lay, servos twitching occasionally under the patchwork medical repairs. “Hmph,” he muttered, the sound deep and amused. “Better this way. For once, he won’t be incessantly arguing or whining. The ship—my plans—won’t be constantly interrupted by his complaints.”

    Hashtag yearns to connect more with Starscream and she can't stand at how the world doesn't want to give him a second chance. She also wishes he wasn't so hostile towards the world.

    Her solution?

    To welcome Starscream into the Malto family as a new uncle and shower him with the love and support he needs, even if he doesn't think he needs it.

    Too bad for Hashtag, things aren't quite that simple.

    Story takes place after season 1 - does not follow season 2 nor 3 events.

    It just didn't seem right.

    Nothing he did seemed right. Slowly, slowly, the mech seemed less and less like the Starscream so many had come to know.

    Leading to a crescendo with an action Megatron knew Starscream would NEVER in a trillion years do.

    and he did it twice in quick succession.

    Sucks the only people who can help him are Autobots, though.
