Summary
Upon meeting a very different Mycroft, one who plays cello beautifully among other things, Greg is mystified, which he wouldn't have thought possible with the already enigmatic elder Holmes. Fascinated by the man and enchanted by his music from afar, Greg is unable over the years to keep from fantasising about him. Herein he finishes a loveless marriage, manages to overcome curious circumstance, shepherd a taciturn Sherlock and unlock for himself the puzzling dichotomy of Mycroft Holmes.
Note: This fic is, at the moment, a frozen WiP as I try to figure out the ending, and I am planning on reposting the fic as a new work when I have it near completion. I will be putting an announcement chapter up here to redirect when that happens for anyone who has the OG Arpeggiate bookmarked.

Serpent Commander Vorsaile Heuloix insisted tol Scaeva was not guilty of any crimes he had been charged with for his arrest, but the public has yet to prove that!

Both men looked at her confused until the cold knife of terror plunged into Nero’s gut. He knew exactly what she was talking about, watching others all night.
A sprig of mistletoe hung on the archway.
That’s it, he was burning this workshop to the ground. He would collect the blueprints from the filebox and light this place ablaze. Anything to be out of this situation.
Nero and Cid find themselves stuck in a difficult situation.
