Summary
Seven years ago when the war ended Hermione knew there would be a million things that needed reshaping in the wizarding world. She knew the ministry would need a complete overhaul to eradicate the corruption, bigotry and prejudice along with rounding up any followers of Voldemort that escaped after the war. She knew Hogwarts would need to be completely rebuilt. She knew that everyone would need time to heal and come to terms with all the trauma they went through. What she didn’t realize at the time was that her personal war would still rage on this many years after that final spell was cast.

Draco sighed and braced his hand against the cold white walls. 'You stupid girl. I decided that you and your dimwitted friends were taking too long to end the war and that too much bloodshed had taken place to not be able to justify fixing the problem at its core.'
His words floated through her mind, failing to take hold.
