They had been over the plan several times already, Viktor lamented soundlessly, but he understood her nerves. Ekko, who was busy spinning himself in one of Viktor’s office chairs, slowed to a stop with an exaggerated groan, dragging the toe of his shoes along Viktor’s floor. “Vi, how many more times are you gonna make us—”
“Until it’s perfect, Ekko.” Vi interrupted brusquely. “Everyone needs to be on the same page about what they’re doing, where they’re supposed to be, and what we’re after. We’re not gonna get another shot at this for months if we fail.”

Viktor has to attend to "present" his research to Heimerdinger. He should be in and out quickly—just long enough to get Vi into place and dip.
