Not because she ever needed the reminder, but because she liked the way it took up space in her calendar. They never called it love, but he took her virginity. (Unknowingly, of course. It wouldn’t have been in the back of her car if he had known.) They fell into a year of heated debates interrupted by flirtatious banter, studying into the early light of the morning, and, of course, glorious moments tangled in-between twisted sheets. It ended before it became anything.
Anyway, Belle was over it. She had to be over it. They were co-workers now.

Summary
