She really doesn't know how this happened.
Well, that was a lie. She has a few ideas and at least one of them must be right. Maybe it was the way Abby looked at her that morning. Or maybe when Mira whisked her away mid-conversation to ask about some choreo. Or when her and Baby were watching TV and he put his hand on her shoulder. Probably that last one.
While she wasn't entirely sure of why, she did know that Mystery was not letting up. She sucked a breath of air through her teeth as she felt him bite down on her shoulder harder.

“Have we been too subtle?” Baby's hand curled around her face and he leaned in.
She pulled back just before his mouth could touch hers. “We?”
Mystery's amused voice came from by her knee, and she startled. She had almost forgotten about him even though his weight was heavy against her legs. “Don't mind me.”
