  2. Summary

A series of crossovers with Fate/Grand Order. The series currently contains the three crossovers listed below.

1.) An introduction/explanation for Fate/Grand Order so you don't have to read through the extensive wiki or slog through confusing terms.

2.) Fate/DC, which has the Batfamily as Servants. Some DC content will not be canon.

3.) Fate/Devil May Cry, which has the DMC cast as Servants. All DMC game, manga and prequel novel content is canon.

4.) Fate/Trigun, which has the Trigun cast as Servants. All Trigun manga and anime (both the original 1998 and the Stampede remake) content is canon.

5.) Fate/Jujutsu Kaisen, which has Ryoumen Sukuna | Pretender incarnating in canon with mentions of other JJK characters as Servants, also featuring JJK Servant profiles.

6.) Fate/Jujutsu Kaisen, with Ryoumen Sukuna | Alter Ego and Master of Chaldea Itadori Yuuji.

7). Fate/Jujutsu Kaisen, with Ryoumen Sukuna | Ruler, Ryoumen Sukuna | Berserker & Ryoumen Sukuna | Archer summoned to canon Shibuya.

None of the crossovers interact with each other, so if you're not interested in one or the other, don't worry about it.

    Summary

It’s as Shen Qingqiu crushes the last little fluttering Iridescent Gem Beetle that the mother decides to introduce herself by burrowing up out of the earth like a cicada the size of an elephant. He just barely has time to resign himself to an even more exhausting fight than the last one - with no rest point in between to chug stamina potions or anything! Honestly, what poor game design! - when the stranger appears.

He charges into the scene out of nowhere like an absolute bullshit deus ex machina, all dark, flowing hair and robes, whirling around to stab at the Mother Beetle with a gleaming white sword, making it screech and rear back in pain. Seriously, Shen Qingqiu feels like he’s suddenly trapped in a video game cutscene introducing the new companion! Where’s the background music and camera close up? Who is this guy?

    -

Shen Qingqiu happens to meet a mysterious stranger on the road, but he surely isn't important or relevant to the plot in the slightest.

“Chai-gongzi,” he says. “Open your hand.”

Chai Dexuan does so, obedient and docile as a sheep, even while looking at Shen Qingqiu curiously. Shen Qingqiu drops a handful of money into his open palm.

    “.... Lord Shen?”

“If you’re hard up for money,” Shen Qingqiu says, determinedly not looking at Chai Dexuan, hiding behind his fan, “then just ask me. I’ll give it to you, so there’s no need to ask strangers.”

Chai Dexuan stares at him for a moment, and then his face floods red with embarrassment. He hurriedly holds the money out back to Shen Qingqiu.

“No, that’s-- I don’t need it! Please, take this back, Lord Shen! This unworthy one didn’t mean to imply anything of the sort.”

“I have plenty,” Shen Qingqiu insists, avoiding taking the money back. Listen, he knows this sort of thing is embarrassing, so let’s just gloss over it and not linger in the moment any longer than necessary! “It’s no trouble.”

    Summary

His subconscious says, “Ignore it. Pursuing a relationship with the Deliverer is nothing but a foolish notion. Even you are destined to die. To want like this is irrational.”

The Tribbie that is Mydei’s sub-subconscious says, “Go for it, De!”

…Such is the battle between the fiercest of warriors.

5 times mydei tries to 'flirt' with phainon and fails, and the 1 time he succeeds.

Stelle makes a pitiful face, which Mem copies to a terrifying degree. “Since when were we having a competition again?”

Phainon sighs in amusement. “Since we stepped in here, of course.”

    “Huh, Mydei knows that?”

“I’ve known him long enough to guess that he will propose a competition for any sort of ‘cleanup’,” Mydei adds. “Isn’t that right?”

“Haha, of course. Am I that predictable for you now? I hope I don’t bore you.”

“Don’t try to, Deliverer. A task like that should be manageable.”

    (Mydei almost says: Never. )

    “Mem… mem mimi mem mi…”

Stelle shrugs, nodding. “Yeah, it’s too bad.”

“Mem mem mi mem mimi, mem mem stupid.”

“Woah, you’re getting more eloquent.” She pats Mem on the head in approval.

“And in all that time…” Phainon says, his gaze piercing. “…I was the only one that could help you?”

This, however, Zandar cannot understand. Why does it matter?

The Deliverer should only care for the peace and happiness of his world, for this was the single-minded ambition Zandar instilled during the coding process. What use is there in knowing more about an inhuman and uncaring interloper, their existence boiling down to a series of notifications?

[Correct.] He admits, for it would be a pointless endeavour to deny Phainon’s conjecture for the sake of it, not to mention petty. [As the sentient construct of a sceptre, you are afforded certain liberties. Free will, or as free as you can muster in the face of reality. It is by virtue of your non-existence that you may act for or against THEIR will.]

[Your autonomy within Amphoreus, and your persistence of memory. These are the key factors.]

Sympathy, turmoil. These are Zandar’s glancing impressions of Phainon.

    Summary

Here is ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇, at the bottom of Amphoreus. He has sealed Irontomb away in an attempt to stop its completion, and now must bear the world in its stead. This world will not be held on the foundation of Destruction. Not if he’s still alive.

He has expanded himself, become everything and nothing, the scrape of nails against the false sky to the flickering flame in the abyss below. He can’t feel any part of his own body anymore. It’s as though he’s retreated to the center of that empty cavity he called a chest, curled tightly into himself. His eyes have long since been destroyed, and he can just barely make out the luminescence of the heat that still emanates from his body. There is only the weight.

    -
The Destruction is just barely held at bay. Phainon pays a visit.

    Bookmarker's Notes

In his mind’s eye, a white-haired man stands in front of him, wide-eyed and smiling, backlit by smoldering flames. It takes him several moments to place the man as Phainon. Then he recalls that he himself was also Phainon, in a different era.

“It’s been so long since we last spoke. All this time I’ve been asleep, and it wasn’t until I heard their voices that I woke up,” he continues. His expression softens into something sad, and regretful. “I hope you’ll forgive me, Khaslana.”

There’s too much to dissect. The three syllables of his name, spoken aloud for him to hear when he’s nearly forgotten. The act of forgiving something he has no memory of.

“You don’t recognize them, I know. But you’d like to.”

He would. He would. Khaslana opens his mouth to address the phantom, but can only breathe out a near-silent yes.

Phainon beams, eyes crinkling, cheeks rounding out, dimples revealing themselves. A smile of genuine happiness at the bottom of Amphoreus, where Destruction is kept at bay. Did he, too, once smile like that?

    Bookmarker's Notes

Giving in, Dan Heng holds his hand towards Jing Yuan, and tries not to look directly at Jing Yuan’s delighted grin as bird seed trickles into the hollow of his palm. The bear cub scrambles across Jing Yuan’s crossed legs the moment it smells the food, chirping with excitement; with only a little hesitance, Dan Heng holds his offering out toward it.

He registers the touch of its little black nose first, cold and damp, followed by the rest of its snout. It eats neatly enough, licking across Dan Heng’s hand afterward before sighing in contentment. Carefully, Dan Heng strokes his fingers over its ears the way he’s seen Jing Yuan do so, and the bear cub lets out a low croon at the touch, wrapping its small round limbs around Dan Heng’s arm as if to encourage him to continue.

Its fur is warm, and so very soft.

It distracts Dan Heng enough that it takes long minutes for him to notice Jing Yuan’s fond gaze.

“What,” Dan Heng says. “Why are you looking at me like that?”

Letting out a low laugh, Jing Yuan just shakes his head. “It’s good to see you happy.”

Dan Heng stills long enough for the cub to make an inquisitive bark, tilting its head to peer up at Dan Heng, nearly tipping off Jing Yuan’s knee in the process. Dan Heng resumes patting the little bear as Jing Yuan sets a hand on the cub’s back to steady it, and if Dan Heng’s fingers occasionally brush against Jing Yuan’s – well, the bear cub is truly very little.

He looks over the cub's head at Jing Yuan - the man who refused to let him return to the Shackling Prison alone, who now sits under the pale sunlight with the cold wind ruffling gently through his hair, finally unburdened.

“I suppose I am,” Dan Heng says.
