Illuga takes the opportunity to push Flins' braid out of the way, to push his shirt up as much as he can. Illuga licks his lips as he admires the pale skin, at how easy it mark up and bruise. His hands find a resting place on Flins’ waist, having to hype himself up to touch Flins’ cold skin.
All of Flins is gorgeous. Scarily pretty, with his porcelain and dark long hair, He’s statuesque. Illuga thought he was beautiful when he first met him, at The Flagship, celebrating two new people on joining the faction, when he first saw Flins sipping the heaviest, most bitter alcohol like it was water.
Here, spread out on his own desk, looking back at Illuga with his striking yellow eyes, Flins is beautiful. Illuga remembers two months ago, when they first hooked up, he saw Flins’ eyeliner run, making his eyes all the more pretty. He thinks that's when he became addicted.

Summary
Varka has spent forty years making sure "biology" is never an excuse. He may be an alpha, but more importantly, he's a Grand Master, the Knight of Boreas, the sort of man who has enough self-control to walk away from any omega in heat if there isn't a ring on both their fingers.
He never felt the need to question this. Not before he met a certain (too-charming) lightkeeper he soon falls half in love with. Even though Flins is definitely a beta... This proves that Nod-Krai's stories about "moonmad" Fae whisking alphas away never to be seen again are just that: stories. They have to be, because the Fae in those stories—creatures of light and hunger that smell sweeter than sin itself—don't sound anything like Flins at all...

Summary
Varka has been in Nod-Krai for a while and decides to drink to celebrate another victory. As Flins walks in to the bar they chat together, after a few drinks Varka invites Flins over to his room to chat. After a bit of chatter ,Varka whilst drunk kisses Flins. Flins first leans into it and eventually finds himself at odds with his feelings. Flins leaves the scene and avoiding Varka from now on. Varka remembers the day after when he wakes up from his hang over. Now saddened Flins most likely does not want to see him, Varka decides to take matters into his own hands whilst Flins is struggling with his feelings with the Grandmaster. Flins also struggles with his insecurity and the fact that Varka fell in love with a Fae out of all people.
