Raphael is Tav's master, and having someone on the inside of the group that will eventually help him become King of the Hells is one of the greatest assets he could ever have aside from its leader. Tav's task is big, especially when it comes to attempting to manipulate the Bhaalspawn leader, someone who has clearly shown she is chaotic and untrustworthy. Waking up on that beach is a taste of freedom Tav hasn't had in decades, and she gets a little too carried away with it. Since she did not want to help her master in his task and whenever she slips up, it results in him having to show the drow her place; repeatedly.
