What made her take a double look was that there was something very wrong with Percy Jackson.The sea had always been unrestrained, though in this boy, for a minute, in the very domain of his father, she didn't see a boy at all, but a whirlpool that greedily consumed everything and more.
The boy was wilder than human could ever be, he felt savage and wild, wilder than any children of nature were allowed to be.
“Is there anything else, my lady?”
“No…”
She bitted back any complicated ideas, watching the boy returned to his friend. Percy Jackson was a sweet boy, and she hoped that he would stay that way.
Children of Poseidon were often powerful. They were often monster too.
“Just…Be careful, Percy Jackson.” He was too savage and too wild.

The satyr wondered, if bringing Percy into their fold was a right choice.Percy had been safe before all of this.
If Annabeth was correct, the boy was even under a powerful protection.
“Who is Patrios, Percy?” Annabeth’s voice softened.

“I don’t know where he is…” he looked like he was about to cry.
And they left it at that.
Annabeth had questions, Percy was a mystery.

Percy sent Tantalus an opened smiled full of teeth.The little demigod of the sea had quite a deceiving look. He was shorter than kids at his age, always smiling, joking with other campers, he trained hard, but so did every demigod in the camp.
The start of his second summer in camp was awful. The boy did not complain much, but so did everyone else.
Overall, Percy was a harmless-looking, as cute as a button demigod.
Standing in front of him, people often forgot that children of Poseidon were widely known for their beastly side.
And now, facing with a threat like Tantalus whose aura was no less dangerous than the monsters, the boy smiled, showing everybody presented his abnormally sharp teeth with fangs like viper’s. The camps became silent.
“What the-” Tantalus blanched at the strange sight of predator’s opened jaw. He growled low in his throat. “What’s so funny, boy? You think you’re tough? Sea Spawn?”
Percy was a good kid who was polite, who helped sweet old granny crossed the road and only said nice words.
“You really like the sound of your voice, don’t you, you foul-smelling filthy fucker?” Percy, with his bright sea green eyes, chirped in a mockingly cheerful tone.
The campers held back their gasp. Even Tantalus was taken aback by the boldness of the demigod, too stunned to make a proper comeback.
