Summary
On a jungle planet in a barely explored system, a team of scientists, accompanied with ex-military security were sent to research a newly discovered intact structure and uncovered that the structure predates the Protheans. Two friends, one a disgraced N7 who was dishonourable discharged because he disobeyed orders that would've put civilians in danger and in doing so got his men killed. The other friend is a female Turian who is a Cabal deserter who got enough of the life in the Cabal where prejudice is high and in a culture where they are outcasted because of their biotics so she left and got a new identity. They both will watch and suffer the consequences of discovering something best left undiscovered.
Meanwhile Jane Shepard picked up the biotic Jack and the Krogan grunt and the Illusive Man gave Shepard two new dossiars about a N7 and a Cabal agent that could benefit the team and their both are located on an jungle planet involved with a possible scientific discovery.

Summary
Gustave Wylder is a former MEC Soldier.
A deserter of XCOM who lives his life far away from any life he can manage, surviving off of scavenging, the occasional trade from wandering resistance or survivors outside of ADVENT's control. He's spent the better half of his days since his desertion doing everything in his power to stay off the grid and radar of ADVENT or XCOM.
However, just as the day he abandoned his duty, nothing stays the same forever. He just wished it didn't take him nearly breaking a few ribs to start the cycle.

Summary
This is a slow burn Shakarian with lots of drama to go around. It's smutty AF and rather free in terms of sexuality. We'll have plenty of threesomes and kink exploration to keep your hungry mouths filled.
These stories uses my personal Shepard—Marika "Mika" Shepard—and we follow her at different points during her life. There's a red thread in this entire series. It's meant to be read in order for proper context, but, of course, you don't have to do that. I usually add a little top note explaining important things you should be aware of.
There are also some one-shots here and there. They're are standalones, but can be considered canon for this series. They just don't fit the main thread, so they're posted outside of the "main big stories."
Themes: Relationship-focused—romantic, friendly, and familial—morally ambiguous choices, emotional, drama-packed, angsty, AU from work 5, dialogue-heavy, with enough smut to keep you bone dry on the inside from work 6 and onwards.
