Summary
So I decided to rewritten this part but I will not deleted it due to some of the lore is still in the afternote, and I loved this first version, just not as much anymore and the lore didn't go anywhere even if I decided to continue it so yeah.
Rewritten version is going to be similar, with more character building and hopefully more accurate character description. Gem, Grian, Pearl and Scar was so OCC in this one lmao.
Notes about the headcanons of everything will be redesigned into just another one in the series. Probably part 2 after this one. The first rewritten will be post in about 5 days or less,I have finished the thing, just haven't finished editing, so look out!

Now though, Pearl was feeling crazy. It had been weeks, if not months, since she last felt the thrill of a good hunt.
Pearl was also lost. She didn’t know where she was or what direction she was heading in, but she didn’t care.
”We should eat.” Said the voice in her head.
Pearl realised she was also hungry, even if she didn’t want to let her be right. But it’s not like she could do anything about it! She didn’t hear any animals near her, and no edible plants in sight.
Then she saw a stone structure at the edge of her horizon. Humans? Maybe. She wasn’t sure, but it was her best bet. So she started walking, hoping for any trace of life.

Summary
Things… change.
Ghost supposes that many would probably say that they get better. They do get better, don’t they? Yes, they do. Things change, and they are better. The Infection is gone, and Hollow is safe, and Hornet is happy, and so Ghost is fine. Perhaps they are selfish, and they mourn a dying world that they can never return to, and they are more alone than ever before, but they’ll get over it.
…And it’s not as if anyone will notice if they don’t.
Ghost goes back in time, kills the Radiance, and sets everything right. They tell no one, and do it on their own. It is only after their family is happy, and the kingdom is safe, and the Abyss is soothed to sleep, that they realize just how lonely it is as the last remaining piece of a future never to be.
