    Husbands Mu Qing (a historian) and Feng Xin (not a historian) are invited to the opening of a recently restored temple to ancient martial gods General Xuan Zhen and General Nan Yang. A tour that takes them quite literally into a trip to the past as they keep seeing themselves as the gods they are learning about. Confused emotions blossom within them giving way for a fight that has never been theirs to fight. Nevertheless, soulmates are destined to meet in each lifetime, and once again Mu Qing and Feng Xin will find their way to each other, with a little help from Generals Nan Yang and Xuan Zhen.
