Summary
“I’ll be fine,” Luthen rumbled, a small smile on his face. “Go to your meeting. Be a politician for a bit,” he chuckled at the flicker of disgruntlement that flashed across Thrawn’s face.
“There is no worse insult you could inflict upon me than calling me a politician. I thought I had your love, but I see now I was mistaken,” Thrawn sniffed. He looked down at Luthen, trying and failing to keep his mock offense on his face as Luthen looked back at him fondly.
“You’ll do fine. I know you will. And I’ll be fine. And you know full well that you have my love,” Luthen said, raising up for a second to kiss him firmly. “Now go to sleep.”
Thrawn and Luthen are settling into a galaxy no longer at war, and attempting to make a home for themselves on Csilla. They find they have friends in the Ascendancy, but they have enemies as well.
