Summary
The deep ocean is dangerous for more than one reason. First Aid has been foraging for crystal and copper out in the caverns that dot the upper rim of the bathypleagic zone before, but he's never been this far down into the colder water below the rim of the continental shelf. He checks his rough map a dozen times over before slipping down between two jutting outcroppings. The light quickly begins to grow so thin and weak that his optics have to recalibrate.
A critical shipment of manganese is delayed and First Aid's patient can't wait, so he takes matters into his own hands. First Aid doesn't expect to meet someone out in the deep waters.

Summary
The Acid Rain first comes into view through the central cockpit window as a small blot of shadow against a background of faded starlight, a black patch rendered between the stars well before the shuttle's exterior cameras pick up any useful detail. Slowly, the hulk of metal resolves into a monument to Functionist hubris, the flat side emblazoned with the same gilded sigil of Primus the old Senate used to plaster on churches and bombs alike.
After the war, routine has taken hold of First Aid's life: repairing damaged mechs, reconstruction of medical facilities, and an unwelcome involvement in politics. First Aid's function periodically takes him away from Cybertron to deliver medical supplies and training to Cybertronian colonies.
A chance encounter en route to Cybertron will change First Aid's life forever.

Summary
Based on a remote research base in a far flung sector of the galaxy near untouched by their war, a clean-up crew is sent to pack down and destroy all trace of their research to avoid it falling into enemy hands. Unbeknownst to them, they are not alone – the inmates of the prison their research base was inadvertently(?) built on top of are waking up, and they’re not happy to have been disturbed. Further unknown to both groups, a third party has noticed the signs of life on the long-dead planet and has come to investigate…

It seems that, after diving down the well of all sparks, Primus was quite content with depriving Optimus of retirement.
With Cybertron now prospering in a caste free society, Optimus considers his work done and takes to the stars to tie up loose ends.
