This is just my take of a "what if" scenario. Also I suck at summaries.
“You have to stop, Mirabel!” Abuela shouted her voice frustrated and exhausted; her eyes glared down at Mirabel. “The cracks started with you.” She took a firm step forward, “Bruno left because of you.” another step, “Luisa’s losing her powers, Isabela’s out of control, because of you!” With each statement Abuela takes another step, her voice raising in volume. “I don’t know why you weren’t given a gift, but it is not an excuse for you to hurt this family!”
Her breaths started becoming heavy, the burning sensation in her throat grew. She looked back over at her mama, and her mom looked away. They all did, slowly almost one by one her family, her familia, turned their gazes away from her. Except for Abuela whose steely glare stayed firm on Mirabel. Suddenly a heavy weight settled over her mind, standing there was steadily becoming the most difficult thing in the world.
She was tired. So, so tired.

Right where she left him and he'll turn dusty with disuse, but he won't scare her off with the pure want that cracked his heart the moment he met her, a 28-year-old intern that wore her own heart on her sleeve and existed as Robby's worst nightmare. It's been almost three years since then, and ever since he heard she drilled a Burr hole with an easy IO eight months ago, his occasional dreams of her turned into fully formed fantasies. He's been tempted to call Pysch a few times, only stopped by the thought of his therapist shaking his head at his antics.

Summary
"Because when your world comes crashing down you can't help but hold on to the one thing that once held it up right." She hadn't seen him for ten months, and when the stars didn't suddenly align she was pissed.
This is an alternate ending to Shadow Kiss. Things ended a little differently after the battle in the caves at St. Vlads. Rose is able to graduate with Dimitri being present. Plans after graduation did not pan out as expected and Dimitri makes his departure. Ten months later they are reunited under unexpected circumstances. The gang- sans Dimitri- is attending Penn State away from Court. The rest will be explained along the way.
