Summary
Tala shows up a moment too late, and Obi-Wan ends up in Anakin's clutches. Taken to the Inquisitor base along with Leia, he finds himself face-to-face with the boy he raised, and the man who was once his best friend, but his former apprentice has terrible things in store. Obi-Wan must search for himself to survive, keep Leia safe, and prevent Anakin Skywalker from realizing his daughter is right in front of him.
Canon divergence from the end of Obi-Wan Kenobi Part III that will run up through Obi-Wan and Vader's final battle, and getting Leia home.

Ryan's in college and for the past eight months, he has been wrapped up reading books from a mysterious recommender that is only identified as “S” in his local college bookstore. He has been trying to piece together who “S” is for months to no avail- but when he meets a handsome and helpful sales clerk he thinks he might have found his man!
(so- this fic has a frosting thin layer of fluff- but things quickly spiral into deep feelings and crisis and anxieties- just as a warning- things do get better- but it's not as easy as it seems it's going to be!!)

He smirked in anticipation. A gleefully vindictive part of Anakin was smugly satisfied that Obi-Wan was going to regret requesting him along on this mission.
