    About 16 years ago, Harley Quinn and Joker got into a fight and broke up. Harley decided to get back at the Clown Prince of Crime by sleeping with the person he was most obsessed with, Batman. What Harley wasn't planning on was getting pregnant with his child. Out of fear, she changes her name to Harley Moreau and flees to Paris, France, and gives birth to a daughter, Marinette Moreau.

    Fast forward several years, and Marinette is 15. Ladybug, Guardian of the Miraculouses, is fighting Shadow Moth, and has won an essay contest sponsored by Wayne Enterprises for her class to visit Gotham for a week. Will her mother let her go to Gotham, and if she does, can Marinette keep her identity as Harley's and Bruce's daughter a secret from not only Joker, but also Bruce himself?

    This has to be some sort of power play. Lila got Marinette expelled, and then brought her back by sobbing about a 'lying disorder' and got her back into school by basically willing it to happen. She'd even gotten people to sign off on her lies because she couldn't help it. Well, two could play at that game.

    Time to cut this leech off from its source.

    Marinette only agreed to work at WE because Jagged and Penny insisted that it would be okay. They reassured her that they had scouted the company out just as thoroughly as she had taught them to, and so there shouldn't be any problems.

    And there wasn't! At least...

    Not until her Boss and his family decided to keep hovering over her 24/7, with one son acting like an overprotective brother, and another son constantly showing up and clinging to her(he had no right to have such a pretty face!!!).
