Summary
Wade wears his designation like the leather of his suit; skin-tight and confidently and demanding the attention of everyone in—or outside of—a room. Like he can’t even help it. Unapologetic, and so comfortable with it that he likes to shove up against all the stereotypes without a second thought. Even if he didn’t have the physical build of an alpha, it just makes sense for him.
Peter, on the other hand, has never been as comfortable with his own.

Derek gives him a withering look. “Really? We’re—doing this and you don’t think we should talk about it?”
“We were kids,” Stiles dismisses.
“I was horrible,” Derek practically snarls, face twisted up in disgust. “I was—” He seems to flounder for a second while he finds the right word. “—struggling, and I used you—”
“I let you,” Stiles assures him. “I wanted you to use me. Trust me, I don’t regret it.”
“You probably should,” Derek says. “You should regret it and you should hate me for it.”
“Lots of people have way more traumatizing first boyfriends,” Stiles says. “And it was over ten years ago—it’s a memory. It doesn’t haunt me or anything. I actually—I have good feelings about most of my memories of you.” And the bad feelings are guilt and regret that he didn’t do more to help Derek. So hatred isn’t really on the list.
