It was supposed to be the end.
In one last act of redemption, Kyouko Sakura had resolved to end the suffering of Sayaka Miki, thereby freeing them both from the bonds of the Incubators. She had expected release. She had expected peace. She had hoped for a dream of happiness.
If only it were that easy.
Instead, she awakes to find herself not in the Heaven promised by her father's sermons, nor in the Hell she had expected her actions to damn herself to, but in a bizarre and twisted afterlife set aside for those who had taken the Incubators' contracts, Magical Girl and witch alike, no matter what their species.
