Summary
Since returning from his seven-year hiatus, Alastor had been spiraling. In the aftermath of the extermination, it seems that his life is completely out of his control as his mental and physical health worsen by the day. A chance encounter with the hotel's only qualified therapist starts the resident overlord on a learning path. However, there's more to Alastor's erratic behavior than meets the eye, and unknown forces work from the shadows to disrupt everything he's come to care about.
With everything hanging in the balance, can Alastor learn to trust others before it's too late, or will he be doomed to watch everything he loves disappear by his own hand?

It's not a problem. It really isn't. A mere predicament, like one would expect as the bare minimum of a place like hell.
But there's an offensive sliver of space between them that Lucifer seems to keep, when they're not doing things that don't explicitly require touching, and he really doesn't know why. Alastor thinks he might die or go mad if he doesn't learn why and learn it soon. And maybe, just maybe, he'd like that space between them to be completely erased while they are at it.
Not that he would say any of this out loud. Ever. And so he suffers.

Summary
Alastor is hit by a spell on accident and is turned into a deer. The only way to fix it is to let the spell run its course before it wears off. But that requires him to relax and allow his mind to give in, to temporarily become a dumb animal inside and out.
And he'll be double damned if he actually lets that happen...
