Summary
Suguru and Satoru have been living together since they started at uni, and they've been best friends for way longer than that. With Satoru still in uni, and Suguru working odd jobs, they've found something that's not quite stable, but it's good enough. Eventually, Satoru will leave him behind, but for now, it's easier for Suguru to just stick with him and enjoy the ride.
It's not stable, but it's metastable. It's a little wobbly, but it works. That is, until Suguru discovers something that shatters their shaky equilibrium completely.

“What the hell part of ‘time off’ do ya not understand?” Hoshina hisses, glowering down at him. He shoves his boot between Narumi’s shoulder blades and pins him down to the floor. That’s the right thing to do, because it makes Narumi quit it.
It’s the wrong thing to do, because it makes Narumi’s neck turn bright red.
“It’s just maintenance,” Narumi mutters, and he lets out a choked, shy little cough.
Hoshina blushes too as he quickly steps off. Hoshina pops down on the floor, sitting next to Narumi as Narumi rolls over onto his back. Hoshina rolls his paper copy of the meeting minutes up into a small stick, and he bops Narumi on the temple with ‘em.
“Well quit maintaining, ya dope.”

Summary
It's a tale as old as time - a classic trope: boy meets boy. Boy tells boy that he's straight (lie), but they should still kiss, like, for fun. And the other boy, also straight (truth), is like "sure, I guess, if you want". So they kiss a lot, and they do other stuff, and Boy 1 (really should have labeled those at the start) develops an insanely codependent relationship with Boy 2 and 'solves' a bunch of their issues by painting over them with a shiny coat of jujutsu. But it's fine, or it was going to be fine - until it really really wasn't fine and Boy A - wait - Boy 1 - had a panic attack and fled the country because of how un-fine he was.
But he's fine now. Like, for real this time. Mostly fine. Somewhat fine.
Oh, and there's a also 1000 year old sorcerer on the loose trying to reincarnate Ryomen Sukuna, King of Curses, and then probably take over the world or some shit. But that's not really a fanfiction trope, so Satoru doesn't bother to put it in the tags.

Summary
Nearly eight years after Ash’s death, Eiji has given up hope that he’ll ever be able to move on. He tried once, and it almost killed him. It’s been almost a decade, yet he still can’t shake the feeling that somehow Ash is out there watching him, judging him for even entertaining the thought of moving on. Now, with each passing day, he drifts dangerously closer to death’s beckoning call. Fortunately, Sing, who has become his closest friend, refuses to leave his side. Although Eiji appreciates his friend’s concern, he can’t help but wonder if Sing’s friendship is rooted in something deeper, something he can’t reciprocate.
“How’s he fairing this year?”
“Not good.”
“But better than last year, I assume?”
“Worse.”
“Surely, he couldn’t be worse.”
“He is. At least last year he was trying to be happy. This year… I haven’t seen him this bad in some time.”
“Does he have anyone?”
“He has Sing.”
“He always has Sing.”
“Well, what did you mean then?”
“Any lovers this year?”
“No one since last year. I’ve been watching.”
