The man looks at the ceiling of their cell, as if praying for some kind of deliverance. “Yes.”
“Huh.”
Itto feels strange. For the past however many weeks (or months? He can’t keep track), he’s been consumed with an all-powerful urge to seek out and duel Kujou Tengu. He thought the same sentiment was returned on her end. His chest feels tight. He doesn’t know why. Did he do the straps of his clothes on too tight again this morning? It happens, sometimes. He’s kind of an idiot.
(Or: After Kujou Tengu takes his vision, Arataki Itto loses one ambition and finds another.)
