“Are you gonna fuck me again?” He feels Ratio’s breath against his neck as he has the audacity to scoff.
“Unless you keep condoms in your office, I’m afraid not. In any case, you seem to be enjoying my fingers just fine.”
“What? But you fucked me raw last time…” He gently tugs on Ratio’s hair to drive his point home.
“Yes, well– What?” His hand stops abruptly and he dislodges himself from Aventurine’s neck. He steps back, as if the force of the information has rudely yanked him from Aventurine’s grasp and he can no longer fulfill his duties. “That’s not– We didn’t– What? We used protection!”
Dr. Ratio and Aventurine realize they forgot protection during their drunken hookup in Penacony. Aventurine gets an abortion.

Ratio glanced at him, his expression unreadable in the intermittent light. “An impressive, if ethically dubious, feat of rhetoric.”
“Isn’t it?” Aventurine’s laugh was a low, pleasant sound in the quiet night. “And yet, I couldn’t manage to talk my way out of a simple walk home with you.”
