Tommy took a deep breath, the blond's hand shaking as he carefully scooped up the green combat knife on the table that was before him. He held the weapon in an egregious manner, clearly inexperienced.
Tommy's fingers danced around the blade of the weapon carefully, even though he was told it wouldn't hurt him. It slowly dawned on him what he was just about to do, the knife suddenly feeling a bit heavier in his hands.
He could feel the watchful eye of Schlatt piercing him, the boy only able to nervously swallow.
Kill the monster. Save the world.
...the only problem was that Tommy wasn't made to kill, he was just a high schooler.
