First let's discuss the timeline - this takes between Chapter 38 and 39 of Fear Will Lose, before Baby Guitar and has a reference to Milk & Rooftops. 2 years after Josh's death, Tyler has started living alone for the first time; but with isolation comes problems, and Tyler's coping methods aren't the healthiest.
