It’s not anything that should ever be an issue, but Dabi catches his breath for all of thirty seconds before he realizes there’s the worst kind of truth perched against his balcony.

Hawks swoops down against his perch, boots clasping against the ground softly as he peers over at Dabi with those startling gold eyes. Even in the dim light Dabi can make out that the fluff of his coat is off, leaving the damp stick of his flight suit clinging to his muscles. Wet locks of his hair equally cling against his temple, beads of water still trickling down and catching against the moonlight and shit wow okay—
"God, you're looking so wet and delicious over there, pretty bird," Dabi blurts in greeting and then slaps a hand over his mouth in horror.
