She shrieked in pain. A cry, high and keening, rang out from lips that should not have been his, a sound like the shattering of a lyre string, like the breaking of something too fragile to have ever been upon the field of war, so unlike Odysseus.
Yet it is Odysseus’ face that twisted in pain and for a heartbeat, Diomedes faltered. It is a cruel thing, to see that visage – beloved, cherished – contorted in agony, to hear a voice that has only screamed and moaned in pleasure into his ear now raised in a shriek of torment. His grip tightened around his shield, knuckles whitening as his mind battled against the illusion, against the deception that would undo him.
No. This is not Odysseus. This is Aphrodite.
(Or, Diomedes knows that none can see the Lady Aphrodite's true form, that she appears as one's most desired, adored and loved. Yet it still takes him aback entirely when she appears to him as Odysseus)

Summary
An android can only withstand so much stress, but when you add deviancy to the mix it gets a lot more complicated. Connor is still coming to terms with it all, and dealing with all these new aspects of existence is a lot to cope with. Nevertheless he pushes away all these emotions and stress, which isn’t as easy as he expected it to be.

Summary
Hanahaki is actually an infectious disease. The bright side is, if one can locate and cure Patient Zero - the one whose repressed feelings of affection caused the outbreak to begin with - the whole outbreak can be cured. The downside is, the current outbreak originated at a massive festival - one that hosted almost every crew in the New World.
It falls to Trafalgar Law to suss out and cure this Patient Zero, thanks to his medical expertise and his ability to administer the surgical cure - but several of his collaborators disagree with his methods. Is it really the humane thing to do, when the outbreak can also be cured with a confession of love?
Law would happily ignore the dissenters - except one of them happens to be his own long-lost love, back from the dead.
