Summary
It's bad luck to name a ship after one that has sunk. And bad luck seems to follow Jim, Spock, and McCoy wherever they go. Set just after Star Trek Beyond, the triumvirate navigate life after the Enterprise's destruction.
Title of the fic comes from "Beyond the Sea" by Bobby Darin. This is a Spones fic, but also a bit of a character study for Jim as well. A bit of a thriller/mystery later on.

Summary
When the young man woke up on the floor, he knew two things. First, he was on the bridge of a starship. Specifically, the floor of the bridge of a starship. Second, that his entire body hurt like hell. And after thinking about it for a solid minute and a half, he realized that he didn’t know anything else.
Inspired by Severance, but you don't need to have watched it to read this. The Enterprise crew lose their memories and need to escape the thing that caused it, while Kirk and Spock confront feelings for each other. Can be read as TOS or AOS.

Spock knew he was dying. As they approached the cliff-side, they saw them: Krall’s drones. They were surely spotted. And soon, the doctor would share his fate. He could not let the doctor die thinking that he did not care for him.
Literally posting this just to have it be the starting point of every Spones fic I write from now on. My fun little headcanon for what happened in Spock's head during Star Trek Beyond.

Kirk is a cadet at the Academy who gets into fights in bars. Seeking his well-being, Pike puts him on academic probation and tells him to focus on his studies. However, he can't find himself interested in Spock's class and begins failing. This is when Spock proposes that Kirk works with him on a project. Kirk is a bad boy, but maybe Spock can change that.

Summary
“Skip to the point, Jim. The sooner you spit it out, the sooner I can refuse and get back to work.”
“It’s really no big deal,” Jim says as the door slides closed behind them. “I just need you to come down to Hearth with us…as my husband.”
The Enterprise has been sent to negotiate reaccession to the Federation with an isolationist religious group known as the Kindred. While there, Jim notices that some of the children seem to be gravely ill. The problem is, the Kindred practice faith healing and refuse to allow a doctor to be brought in. So Jim does what he does best: he improvises.

The one night stand Jim Kirk has with the Vulcan passing through Riverside is a welcome break from the monotony. It's good, very good, but so fucking weird Jim's sure he's never gonna forget it. He's not quite expecting to run into Spock again in San Francisco. A second one night stand turns into a weekend, turns into a lot of weekends, turns into Bones joking that he's living half his week at Spock's apartment.
But! But, and this is very important: they're not dating.
What also turns out to be important is Spock's job, which Jim never bothered getting the details of. Starfleet Officer and a bartender-slash-bouncer? That's fine. Starfleet Academy Instructor and cadet? ...Less fine.
