"And the eastern warehouses?" Zhang Hao prompts, his voice soft but firm, the kind that doesn't need to be loud to be heard and obeyed. There's a brief silence and Matthew tenses slightly, leaning forward to place his elbows on the table but staying silent.
"Um, sir, that's Sung Hanbin's jurisdiction."
"Oh, that's right," Zhang Hao says, placing a finger to his bottom lip as if he didn't know that already. Taerae doesn't believe him for a second, equally fascinated and dreading the way the tension is mounting in the air, the whole room's eyes fixed on one man. "Come on, Hanbinnie, it's your turn to speak," he says, leaning back in his chair and... looking under the table?
Taerae can't help his sharp inhale of shock as a man emerges from under the table, his suit wrinkled and dusty at the knees, hair mussed and lips swollen and slick, eyes hazy.
