Summary
Written in response to (or at the very least, inspired by) Tlema's "Comfort" challenge:
Spock walks in on Uhura and Scotty (kissing or more, it's up to you!). He finds himself trying to figure out if he even cares or not. In the post-breakup stage, a certain captain is there to comfort his Vulcan First Officer.

Summary
After months recovering from the ladder truck bombing, Buck finally returns to Haven, a sanctuary where wolves run free and identities remain a secret. He doesn’t know their names, only the comfort they brought him. But six months without them has left a hollow ache he can’t explain.
Tommy and Sal felt it the second they caught his scent. Mates are rare. A triad bond? Practically a myth. But it’s real and impossible to deny. When the third piece of their bond vanishes for six months, the absence nearly tears them apart. Then one night, the pull leads them to Haven again.
They finally get a name: Evan. Not through a meeting, not yet. Just a username tied to his scent, granted through Haven’s secure database. He isn’t ready to meet them face-to-face. But they’ll wait.

Reed felt the words catch somewhere deeper than he expected. He didn’t answer, just watched as Johnny eagerly attached more bricks, humming rocket noises under his breath.
For all his brilliance, Reed sometimes forgot the simplest equations: a boy who’d lost too much too young, a sister who became a mother before she could grow up herself, and himself—standing here now, filling spaces he hadn’t realized needed filling.
He wondered if Sue ever thought about how much Johnny had already come to rely on him.
He did.
A lot.

When Reed enters the Storm Siblings lives, he becomes part of the small, carefully built family, helping with homework, dinner, and bedtime stories about stars and planets. One sleepy slip of a word four years into their little family changes everything, reminding them all that family is built not just by blood, but by trust, and love.

Written for the Star Trek XI Kink Meme prompt: "Spock has been stuck alone on some alien planet that needs a Federation representative to be present for a long, stalled-out series of negotiations. I don't want any horrible trauma, just loneliness and frustration and culture-shock. The people on this planet are as far from Vulcan as possible -- everything is everyone's business, emotions are on display everywhere, everyone wants to hug everyone else all the time, etc. There is almost no vegetarian food suitable for a Vulcan diet. And Spock misses the Enterprise. Bonus points for him realizing that somehow the ship has become like a home/family for him, because I am a sucker for stuff like that."
