izuku was acting weird.
the boy was… snugglier for lack of better word. he seemed increasingly more particular about the cushions on the couch, more unwilling to part ways with his blankets in the morning and would preen unabashedly at every little show of affection shouta presented him with, be it something as simple as making his favourite meal to a brief swipe of his wrist in the boy’s hair to scent him.
if shouta didn’t know any better, he might’ve guess the young omega was nesting. now, that he thought about it, he hoped izuku wasn’t holding back his urges to nest because he was uncomfortable.

izu wants to nest. just… not in his own room… :(

"i look forward to that day, then," the man said simply, something in him placated to see the child's spirit alive and burning strong. "i'm sure you'll be a great enough pro to arrest me, little hero."
the small child beamed at the nickname before green brows furrowed in confusion. "arrest you?"
shouta grinned. "i'm a villain, you know?"

shouta was lounging on a roof after an uneventful patrol when swirls of green first entered his vision and he could immediately tell he gained a new soulmate.
he watched as a wispy bunny materialized in his hand, its silhouette growing clearer by the second. the little thing was so obviously a kitten, so small it could fit into just one of his palms. it seemed to be sound asleep, little body raising and falling with each breath.
shouta couldn’t help the fondness and adoration that bloomed in his chest as he carefully ran a gentle finger down the little thing’s nose, pulling an impressively big yawn out of the kit that made him chuckle.
he had a soul child.
