Laramie is in Wyoming. On an episode of Alias Smith and Jones, Kid Curry said that he and Heyes were wanted "only in Wyoming." Both shows took place during the 1870's. I thought it logical that their paths would cross, in Wyoming.

Oh, he'd done his chores, played with Mike, praised Daisy's coking but every now and again, Slim had seen him stand by the fence and gaze towards the hills. Was he planning on riding away? Slim shuddered to think on it but Jess' strange question one night during a porch talk causes Slim more angst than normal. It’s what he does to find the answer that gives the story its name.
