  That goddamned word is the only thing you can articulate right now, and it’s chugging like a train through your mind while your dignity is left tied to the tracks. Your vision is blurry but too fucking sharp at the same time, pinpricks of light becoming daggers and shadows twisting into figures. 

   

  You can’t even get a semblance of what you’re doing or where you’re positioned, though your head hurts enough that you’re willing to bet your hands, claws out, are digging into your scalp. The shitty parts of you wants it to draw blood.
