To be completely honest, Izzy isn’t sure how exactly they get into this particular situation; apparently it’s one of those awful terrible coincidences that just happen, and Izzy would probably cut off her own hand if it meant being able to prevent this from happening, but she can’t.
She can’t prevent Imogen Herondale from making Camille Belcourt a Clave-protected informant, even if Izzy suspects the woman only hired the vampire to make Magnus’s life more complicated.
And she can’t prevent her brother and Magnus from hosting the annual New York cooperation dinner party, not that she would even if she could.
