Prince Aegon said he could show me the dragons, this is plenty enough,” Rhaenyra turned to Aegon, grinning. “I really should get back to my mama before he starts worrying.” The air went still, the two elder princes freezing, figurative hackles rising. Aegon, however, didn’t seem to pick up on the sudden mood change and nodded.
“I will walk you back then! I wanted to explore the tourney grounds anyways.” Rhaenyra rocked back on her heels, smiling although she had felt the air chill, as if they weren’t standing mere feet away from the equivalent of forty bonfires within flesh.
Duncan ran away from King's Landing seven years ago and despite trying to erase the past, it comes back to bite him in the form of the very thing he was running from. Now the Omega has to figure out how to deal with possessive dragons and the sweet pup he needs to protect.

Kione vaguely remembered her life before being sent off by Viago for the stunt she pulled, she barely remembered the glittering streets and moonlit rooftops of Treviso, so much has happened in between her leaving and coming back, even if it was only a year.
Now two ancient elven mages are loose and releasing a new type of Blight and there's another one in her head of all places, just out of reach and barely giving her any kind of information. And if that wasn't enough, she has to navigate the newfound relationships she has with her team, budding friendships, rivalries of the moral kind, and sometimes the occasional heavy glances from across the room - not to say she hasn't given her fair share of them to her fellow Crow, but that's not the point!

“No. No never,” he said, the air in his lungs finally escaping. Her smile didn't light up a room, in fact it seemed to consume all light, the sultry and dark look she gave him. She wanted to consume him --- and she wasn't hiding it well. In her other hand was a glass, half full of what he guessed to be a whiskey sour. She brought it to her lips, tilting her head back, but keeping eye contact as she swung her head and drank the rest of the shot.

The paper smelled sweet, floral and dewy. Like it had been made from reeds right there on the mountains of Liyue. She had seen them, off in the distance when she had visited the harbor, there had even been some nearby, tall enough to block out the sun at the right angle. Inazuma had her mountains, but nothing like the cloud peaks in Liyue.
Yoimiya reached Yae Publishing House and sighed when the kitsune was nowhere in sight. Perhaps she was back at the shrine, Yoimiya thought, as she turned her face to look up at the peak. She turned her attention back to the books, in hopes to find one that could answer her burning question - what sort of flower did Shenhe send.
