Summary
Sophia taps open her first pinned message thread, opens Manon’s location.
Apple Maps has blanked into nothing. Her girlfriend’s contact photo pulses on a canvas of black.
Underworld. Live. ∞ minutes away.
Or: Manon disappears, Sophia absolutely doesn’t freak out, and Yoonchae(?) is sick of her job.

Summary
An average, normal high school girl from our world is suddenly thrusted into a world full of heroes and villains. Homeless on the streets of Gotham, all she has is a long-nosed stray dog that has to be a human in a costume as a companion and the strange vigilantes that seem to simply not stay away.
(And let’s not forget about the sudden de-aging factor and the amnesia.
She is simply having such a good time!)

"No, they won’t let me sign up to attend!”
Sakura lost her entirely with that single sentence.
“You said it was for singles, though,” Ino said slowly.
“Yeah, and Mayumi said I couldn’t come unless I’d broken up with you. But we aren’t dating, so—”
She turned sharply, her whole body shifting to face Sakura.
“What do you mean we aren’t dating ? What do you think we’ve been doing for the past three years, Forehead?!”

Bookmarker's Notes
“So how come you picked up?” Manon’s voice is unsure. Her footsteps keep echoing and then becoming muffled; Sophia imagines her pacing over wood and carpet. Manon had explained the world – the endless maze and the stone walls and the moon, and wherever she is now. Her infinite bedroom. Sophia tries to picture it, and can’t really. In her mind Manon has charcoal grey silk sheets, and paint on the floor.
“I don’t know,” says Sophia honestly. Manon’s face all over her wall. How could she have ever forgotten? “I kept walking into rooms and looking for someone who wasn’t there.”
The call could drop. She could forget again. More time could pass. Sixteen days without–
“Come home,” Sophia says. Manon smiling in the light of twenty-three candles. “Just try to come back home.”
