Unfortunately for Senior Padawan Obi-Wan Kenobi, he has crossed the Librarian Protectors of Mandalore. And no one takes his duty to Mandalorian archival integrity more seriously than Jango, the Mand’alor’s son.

As someone who prided himself on his foresight—sometimes to an annoying degree, according to Rex, though Rex was hardly one to talk, considering his penchant for harebrained schemes and a little too-daring rescues—Cody really, truly, ought to have known that getting a Jedi to actually wear armor couldn’t last forever.
(Or, General Kenobi has a bit of a habit of messing with people. Commander Cody, meanwhile, isn't afraid to exploit it, if he feels he needs to.)

Jango lost everything when his clan was slaughtered by a corrupt branch of the Jedi Order. Since, he has been a prisoner, drained of blood and barely fed for unknown purposes. There is surely not chance of escape.
But not all Jedi are corrupt, and one has been searching for an imprisoned vampire for decades.
