With the exterminations (at least momentarily) cancelled and the hotel’s crew proving to all of Hell that they can hold their own, Charlie will finally get her shot at rehabilitating sinners. Not only that, but her dad has also moved in with them after so many years of fragile connection.
Living with him is… not quite like she remembered? But that’s fine! It’s great even, her dad is eager to help out despite his first doubts. And she’s really hoping he’d decide to stick around. There’s so much she didn’t know about her life at the palace, or Lucifer’s dealings with Heaven. Just a whole lot about her own dad she never questioned.
His ongoing animosity towards Alastor does cause some friction, but she’s sure they’ll figure out soon. After all, her dad never looks quite as animated as he is around Alastor, and he’s the only person that manages to get Alastor to break character from time to time. If only they saw how much they have in common… -

Something was about to happen, he was sure of it. “You call these ‘meetings’, but, in truth, they’re little less than that. Heaven talks, and Hell listens. Heaven calls, and the Queen appears. Heaven decreets, and Hell takes it. That’s how it has always been, has it not?”
It had to be magic, the way Alastor spoke. There was no other explanation for the way everyone was staring, stunned, waiting to see what would come next.
Or: An au where everything? is the same except Lucifer's punishment didn't involve kicking him out of Heaven.
